thank you!! this chapter made my heart hurt a lot agh
haha thanks guys o/
Aaaaah, thank you so much..
Thank you so much!! Highly appreciate all the work you put into translating this series. I have a question though, if anyone could answer. I've been wondering about this for a while now, but never really came to a firm conclusion on my own. At what point did Joon actually fall in love with Sul and why did he make such an effort to keep her around using the scholarship. I always thought it was because he found her different, as in she never went under the assumption that he would pay for everything...but that just never felt enough for me. If anyone can elaborate on Joon's thoughts and psych that'd be appreciated. THANKS
This is just my opinion. I am not to sure when he actually started to like her but that scholarships was truly to keep her in uni so that he could get to know her better. But I think he started to take notice of her when everyone says that she's a good student and also when he caught her giggling at him at the study group session. Maybe its because he never been treated thay way by anyone before; to ignore him and even giggling at him. And when he heard that she has financial problems he wanted to help her because maybe he realised that she's the only person that never took advantage of him. So after that he could get to know her better by taking the same classes with her. I also think maybe he developed those feelings when they spent summer vacation pretty together everyday. Though I still find it a bit unsettling when he confessed to her so quickly... and so I thought that maybe he doesn't want the person he cares so much for getting taken away from him again (like his dad, how he really liked bek in ho and bek in ha as his own children). Because of the picture of sul and inho got taken while inho was holding sul's hand, maybe jung felt insecure or something... so he just decided to ask her out. But even the way he asked her out was so selfish I thought. I know that he liked her but I also think he purposely made her feel bad when she said no at first, so he made those expressions, letting go of her hand and also the sudden cold atmosphere.. to make her say yes, that's what i think. Apart from all these, I can see the changes in Jung because of Sul (in a good way). Remember when bek inho grandfather said that Jung has a victim mentality (a bad at that too), so he suggested to jung's dad about having a sibling for Jung or a pet.. to show jung that someone can love him sincerely without having to have something in return, so that jung can also love someone sincerely too. I think its Sul that can cure him of that mentality. Sooo he made all of those efforts even tho some of these were really selfish and bad as wel, is just to keep her by his side.. maybe because he feels different somehow when he's with her. Anyway... i've said a lot. Idk whether i've elaborated on jung's thoughts for you, but i hope it helped a little bit :)
Wow you've elaborated it so well! I was not the one who asked this, but I feel enlightened by your explanation. Thanks!Anyway, just want to share my thoughts. I think CitT is the most mature romance story I have ever read. This is not the kind of cheesy story that you can easily guess what the next chapter will be. And I reaaaaally love it!! I just hope I understand Korean better so that I can read it much more ahead on naver :D
Hehhe glad that my explanation kinda helped you a little And yea i agree that CITT is not the typical cliché romance story (not that i hate any of those stories). This webtoon is very exciting xD
that's a perfect explanation and it makes sense to me; I had the same feeling while reading the last translated chapters yet I couldn't describe the way you did. CITT is officially my favorite webtoon so far it's amusing, exciting, unpredictable and most importantly sooo realistic. I love it!!
Feels like it's been a while since we've seen Jung ^.^ Thanks for the chapter!
OMG thanks sooo much to you guys!! I've been waiting for weeks then I thought u guys had stopped translate them:") well, guess I was wrong haha thank youu for saving my day!:D
When he says she is the most important one to him, my heart melts!!But suddenly, I think about the photo frame he smashed up when he didn't want his friend to take it. He used to like it a lot!I really like Seol, I don't want him to do such same things to her!!

Thank You so much for translating
Am I the only one who thought Jung was kinda cold this chapter? I mean his face expressions didn't strike me as caring, in fact he seem like he was annoyed.
I agree with Jung looking cold, but rather than annoyed I think he looked smug, like "oh look at you running back like I expected. I win."
AHhhhhhhhh, I love this chapter. I've been waiting for this for so long! Thank you very much!!
In response to the question on Jung’s psyche, here are some things I’ve picked up along the way. Jung is a mysterious, mysterious man. In a creepy, twisted way. In the beginning, I saw him as the bully and I had strong feelings against them going out – partly because I thought that Jung was the only one who’d benefit from this coupling. But to just to give the question some perspective, I want to mention that Jung openly admitted later to disliking Sul back when they first met - that sort of confirms he was aware of and purposefully did all those horrible things to Sul in her second year. But as you already know, that dislike for Sul had changed somewhere between them meeting and him deciding to unscrupulously forfeit the scholarship. That’s the mysterious part; the piece in Jung’s life timeline (primary school to university internship), that we’re so crucially missing. So here’s my speculation as to what happened in that time: Sul admitted too that she worked herself in to disliking Jung initially – saying he’s a pushover and that he clearly chooses who he associates with - implying that he’s actually manipulative and insincere. I’m guessing he was annoyed at first that someone saw through his persona and pitied him – that going along with everyone’s expectations of him, to think of everyone as only people who wanted something from him was indeed easier but also the sadder thing to do. I too agree that it’s a form of victim mentality. And I guess he just went and vented on Sul, as he does when things don’t go his way, perhaps to even prove to her that he’s not to be pitied (and is superior or whatever). So that shows that Jung is this big snob who’s set in his own ways - so it’s hard for me to believe he himself changed his own opinion of Sul – I’ve always thought there must be some sort of hidden catalyst for him to suddenly start appreciating her instead. Someone or something (like Mama Odie in Princess and the Frog) made him realise that the fact that Sul can kinda see through him, he should value it and use it to connect with her in a deeper, more sincere level than the crap he dishes out to others. And from there, I guess he appreciated how she was his opposite – she was so sincerely hardworking; she openly puts her big whole heart into everything she does. So hopefully that explains a bit about why he did it, keeping in mind that the scholarship incident sounded rather convenient/easy for him to instigate. Still, I wouldn’t say there was a point he fell in love with her either (not even sure he’s capable of that) – but he appreciates her at least. Even after his proclamation this chapter I’m still not convinced he cares for her that deeply. And if it is love, it’s a damned selfish love – where there’s no give and it’s all take.
I'm kind of taking Jung's side. I don't think he really is a bad guy or having victim mentality and he never been the attacker. All the people he managed to get revenge of where the ones who had hidden bad intentions. He is just so smart that he can get revenge of those people without exposing his movements and remember that he did help in rescuing Sul when the old lady attacked her in the library although he hated her at that time. On the othe other hand, when the professional analyzed Jung's personality I wondered since he is in that position why did he fail in building his grandchildren's personalities. In Ha is one of the worst personalities I've seen in my life with her criminally personality and In Ho is a good guy but arrogant violent careless loser in studying even if they were kids when he passed away but those personalities don't just arise suddenly. If they were raised well that would reflect sooner or later after being adopted by Jung's father.. So again I think Jung is a good guy and a super smart one who only punish the bad people in a cunning way. It is just that among all those people onlu Sul who was misunderstood and maybe maybe maybe cuz she flicked his heart from the beginning but he refused to understand and cuz she made him confused and with his personality he felt in danger. You know when someone like someone but treat him negatively, I hope this story end in Jung's side cuz I think any human being would take an action if someone tried to exploits or benefits or hurts you.. he is just so smart to not exposes himself :) hope to find someone who would agree with me
How tap the episode in naver??? I try and try but so dificult. Please help me
